Terms & refunds

The agreement

These terms are between you and Jeyanth Kanagaraju(“we”), the developer of Textfold. By downloading or using Textfold you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The free plan

You may download and use Textfold free of charge, for as long as you like, with up to 10 active snippets.

Textfold Pro license

• A Pro license is a one-time purchase for one person. You may activate it on up to 3 Macs that you use. Teams buy one license per person.
• The license doesn't expire. Every 1.x update is included. Major new versions may be a paid upgrade.
• You may not share, resell or publish your license key, or try to get around the license check. Keys that are shared publicly may be disabled.
• Textfold remains our property; you're buying a license to use it, not the software itself.

Payment

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles payment, tax and invoicing. Dodo Payments' own terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown in US dollars; applicable taxes are added at checkout.

Refunds

If Textfold isn't right for you, email hello@textfold.app within 14days of your purchase and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments. A refunded license is deactivated, and Textfold returns to the free plan; your snippets stay exactly where they are.

No warranty

We work hard to make Textfold reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of anything important — including your snippets folder.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Textfold, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
